introduction to Fox and the Hound
Fox and the Hound (The fox and the dog) from 1981 is a classic animationfilm by Walt Disney Pictures. He follows two unlikely friends, an orphaned red fox named Tod and a hunting dog named Copper, as they learn to overcome their differences and become lifelong companions.
The story begins when Death is adopted by a friendly farmer who finds him alone in the woods. After being welcomed into his new family, he quickly becomes friends with Copper, a playful pup who lives next door. Despite their initial friendship, Tod soon has to flee from Copper's owner, who wants to turn him into a hunting dog.
